On a Mission

With summer trying to make it's way into Vancouver, I have been spending alot of time deciding what to splurge on this season.  I am hoping to find items that are light and airy, that can be dressed up or worn casually. And a few special items that could be worn into other seasons as well. Here are some images of what I hope to find!



A new favorite of mine is the feather earing trend. A vibrant pair can liven up any outfit, or a more softer and neutral pair can just add a nice touch to a cute summer outfit. I love this off white pair and only $48.00!

Now, for tops, I am looking for a few different styles for the summer. I would love to find a nice lacey looser fitting style that could be tucked into skirt and shorts for a easy look, similar to this topshop one:

I am also a huge fan of anything nautical inspired, so a cute striped top is deffinatly on my list!

A fun skirt that is both feminine and classic, could possible be worn in another season with a pair of cute tights.

Wedges are super popular right now-and paired with some flirty lace they are even better! Camel is a great color to have for summer, it is very versatile and can be easily matched with alot of options!

To finish this cute outfit off, I would love to pair it with a camel colored cross body purse. Something similar to this GORGOUS Chanel bag!! Ahhhh a girl can dream:)

So I must say last night was enchanting, entertaining and fabulous.  All of the celebrities lining both the red carpet and gracing the stage looking absolutley stunning.  Well, I might not have seen some of the styles that I had hoped, but, the color selection was incredible.  I personally loved Milia Kunnis's lavender dress, Selena Gomez red, Rheese Witherspoon, Halle Berry and Amy Adams.  Of course aside from the fashion, the movies all rocked the house as well.  The King Speech, an incredible movie, cleaned house, but most importantly took home Best Movie.  For those who havent seen it, I highly recomend it. Also, seeing James Franco wearing well first, a unitard, then a pink gown? That made the night! James and Anne looked amazing, and there energy was hard to miss.  They worked impecable together and they were fun and easy to watch.  I'll post some pictures tonight! Its that time of year!

As we all know, tonight is one of the many exciting events in the celebrity world...The 83td Academy Awards!  This year's hosts are Anne Hathaway and James Franco, a Oscar first ever hosting of both male and female! They are both individually hilarious and incredibly talented, so together tonight's show is going to be a true success.  Some of my favorite movies being nominated are: Black Swan, The Kids Are Alright, The Fighter, Inception, The Kings Speech, 127 hours, The Social Network, Toy Story 3, True Grit and How to Train Your Dragon.... that sounds like most of the nominated movies! I usually spend my weekends at the theaters!  I am also really looking forward to the dresses. I hope to see lots of color, lace and maybe some cut out dresses? And if all else fails, some killer shoes. Best of luck to all of the nominees!

Spring is coming!!!!

Hello All:

Tonight is Saturday night.  It is snowing, and I am inside in my pajamas on my laptop, lusting over spring fashions, and what I am currently saving up to splurge on! One of my habits is making lists of all kinds, but making lists on what I want to buy! Ahhh that is true love!  Enjoy!

 

I am really looking to find items that are light and feminine, but I want to mix my looks up a little bit! I am a huge fat of pastel and beige-y tones, and I love anything lace and with bows. Im a huuuge sucker for anything girly! The above items are all from Aldo and Arizia, my two favorite shops.

So, tommorow I have a huge final for my contemporary management course.. i was planning on pulling an all nighter.. I have been sitting on the computer absent-mindedly flipping through old pictures.  Oh well, no sleep b4 my exam could be possible. So it is December first tommorow, that seems weird.  November went by to quickly.  I literally just uploaded my halloween pictures two days ago.. It will be nice to be finished school for the semester..however, the christmas break never seems long enough. Tonight the VS Fashion show was on, as much as I love the show, it deffinatly leaves me hating something about my body! As much as I hate doing that! Here are some cute pics from the show!
