Perfect looks, for all Christmas festivities!

You don't even need to set foot inside a major department store to get the memo that the holiday season is upon us. Tinsel and turkey and bells of all sorts will soon remind you that the hollidays are completley unavoidable, and then slowly, the invitations (read anxiety) will roll in. Chill out and plan ahead. There's sure to be a mid-week bash with everyone from the office, the annual family reunion and at least one friendly holiday soiree featuring he-who-must-not-be-named (not Voldemort, silly.. I am refering to your ex). So, cut the seasonal stress, and get decked out in fabulous winter dresses and trends!

The Rainy Day Blues

Happy Tuesday Everyone:)  I hope your rainy day was as eventful as mine! I spent the day Christmas shopping downtown with my good friend Haley. We went for lunch at Cactus Club on Robson-try the Flat bread it is amazing!! Finally we ended our night with the StyleSpy Gap Event! It was a amazing night.  Met allot of other bloggers and saw some old faces.  And listened to live music from Dj Anna, ate candy, drank Jones Soda, had my hair braided by Blo Bang Bar and shopped -of course.  I picked up a few winter essentials (a post on this soon!) as well as my fabulous #Swagbag! We made sure to stay bundled up and warm, despite the rain and the wind!  Tonight I just want to share some cute winter jacket ideas to help keep you warm and stylish this season!

Winter Fashion Trend: Sequins, Metallic and Glitters

Let’s take a peek on one of the most essential trend for the coming season ahead.  We will be seeing a lot of sparkling sequins, glitters, metallic, appliques and fringes.  This look is definitely set to create a great impact. Winter defiantly wont be as gloomy as it was with the emergence of this trend.  The look is sophisticated and dramatic.  So add some sparkle to your closet this winter, to instantly glam up your look!

How to wear this high-shine trend:

If you plan to go to a party the best way to get that perfect party wear is to garb on a glamorous dress with sequins, glitters and fringes.
Invest with a nice pair of trousers with high quality sequins.
Pair a monochrome outfit with sequined blazers and make it your statement piece.

**Never go overboard when it comes to wearing the high shine trend.

Theres no place like home'

More recently I have been spending allot more time blogging and looking at local blogs online and it can really become addicting! Before you know it, what seemed like a few minutes can all of a sudden be a few hours... I mainly look at fashion or style blogs, but I have currently become very found of home decor and interior design blogs.  Not to long ago I had my bedroom painted a light-grey and the theme is black  and white with soft accents of pale pink.  I really like how it is turning out, but it is still missing a few ideal pieces that will make it perfect.  Here are some cute additions that I am on a mission to find to add to my humble abode!

So long November, hello Movember...

As we all know, November is now known as Movember.  Movember is the month delegated to the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in Canada and around the world. With their “Mo’s”, these men raise vital funds and awareness for men's health, specifically prostate cancer.  Movember Canada is a website that allows men to upload and track the growth of both their mustache and their donations.
You can donate money to an individual, a team or to the Movember cause itself. All funds raised go directly to Prostate Cancer Canada and the Movember Foundation.

Join the fun with these Movember items and ideas.  Sales of these items will help raise awareness and help men's health.

Demitasse has agreed to donate $8 of every sale of Urban Demistache necklaces purchased through the Demitasse website

Celebrate Movember with your favorite Mo' cookie.  Created and sold through Fuzzy Ink Tees are both practical in terms of use and an excellent tool to get the word out and proudly proclaim the wearer’s support of such an important and worthy cause.

One for One- Tom has created Mo' inspired casual wear to help get the message across.
