Winter White

I’m not sure who came up with the oldly outdated fashion rule that warns fashionistas to remove white from their wardrobes between Labour Day and Memorial Day,  but let’s just say I’d rather not take their advice — white is one of my favorite colors to wear, especially on the coldest days of the year. The crisp look of white in dreary winter is unexpected, bold, and ultra feminine.  If you’re looking for a way to stand out in a dreary crowd of black, brown, and navy blue— try an outfit that incorporates winter white!

Tips to try:
-If you are worried about wearing a bright white, go for a nice off white, creme or ivory.
-Try to wear heavier materials, opposed to lighter materials that we tend to see more of in the warmer months.
-Faux Fur is a fun way to add instant style to your look.
-If you are brave, you could rock a pair of white pants, however, a white coat or dress might be easier during the hectic winter months.
